I’ve made a career in fashion, working with many different clothing and accessories designers. It helped me to create an eye for a well-constructed garment and a variety of textiles. Also, it was crucial to learn about which fabrics are best to hide flaws and which shapes are most flattering for certain body types.

Working in an office as a vice president’s secretary helped later apply the organizational skills to create, plan, and organize the entire shoot’s styling.

In 2008 my first business was founded – Bossa Unica, a luxury beach resort e-commerce. It was known for curating the most sought-after styles from a compelling and edited mix of established and emerging Brazilian designers.

I’ve always found great satisfaction from helping clients to build different looks for special occasions.

The styling for photoshoots started in 2017 after noticing that many clients didn’t have time or didn’t know how to select their outfits for photo sessions.

So, I got thinking: how could I bring what I used to do for my store clients to the photoshoot styling clientele?

We all know that online shopping has changed everything, but the choices online seem infinite. We can scroll through hundreds of little black dresses and thousands of shoes. Stores have associates (who are not always experts) to help you make choices, but deciding what to wear for a photoshoot can be stressful and not fun at all.

When I decided to work with SexyLuxStudio, I quickly realized we shared the same values and goals. I believed we could create the perfect chemistry of luxury styling and glamour photography that would enable me to bring my process of working with my online clients — understanding their bodies, needs, and closet – to photoshoot clients.

The result of that collaboration is Lux Photo Styling.
